Muscatine Dentist to Open Office

Construction is moving quickly at our office in Muscatine, IA. Our office will be located at 2023 Cedar Plaza Dr. Muscatine, IA. We plan to open in the Summer of 2015. So far the office has been plumbed for dental equipment, and framing has begun. We are excited to share with you the construction process. To follow along visit our Facebook Page!

We are currently working on credentialing with insurance companies to better serve your needs. Currently, we are in the process of filing paperwork with the following companies:

• Delta Dental of Iowa
• Blue Cross & Blue Shield
• Met Life
• Iowa Medicaid

If you don’t see your insurance company listed here please contact our office.  We would be happy to file insurance on your behalf, and consider credentialing with your insurance company.

Dr. Jarod has completed all his requirements for Oral Conscious Sedation in his program at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  He has surpassed the number of sedation encounters required for the State of Iowa.  Additionally, Dr. Jarod has earned over 16 hours of continuing education credits focusing on pediatric sedation.  Upon completion of the residency program, Dr. Jarod will apply for a sedation permit to be able to provide clients with more flexibility with behavior management techniques.

Dr. Jarod also completed a rotation working with anesthesiologists at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV.  This rotation is required of all pediatric dental programs.  During the time he gained experience in managing airways, recognizing events prior to adverse effects occurring, and monitoring patients under monitored anesthesia care and general anesthesia.

We are also currently in the process of filing paperwork with Trinity – UnityPoint Health in Muscatine to be able to provide children and those with special healthcare needs treatment under general anesthesia.  This will allow us to provide necessary care for children with in the community without having to travel Iowa City or the Quad Cities.
