Ever have a toothache so painful it was hard to sleep?

Many Iowa and Illinois children face this reality each day and can’t smile, pay attention in school or even sleep because of tooth decay. February 6th, 2016 is National Give Kids A Smile® Day. It’s part of the American Dental Association’s Action for Dental Health campaign. Dentists across the country will provide free dental health services to underserved children from low-income families. Arctic Dental will host a program in Muscatine, IA. To register a child for Give Kids A Smile, contact the staff at Arctic Dental at 563-607-5979. Pre-registration is required for the event and limited space is available. Priority will be given to children without insurance or those who are under-insured. Together, we can give kids a smile!

Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence.
