We absolutely LOVE Dr. Jarrod and his staff. They are always so supportive and welcoming. My girls are not scared or anxious to go which is a huge relief. They always answer all of my questions and help develop a treatment plan if needed that fits our needs. And the girls love picking out a movie to enjoy and tokens for a special surprise when finished!!
Recently they made changes to their insurance policies and they helped make sure we had a seamless transition and answered ALL of our questions so there wasn’t any confusion or surprises in cost. We highly recommend Arctic Dental for any Pediatric Dental Care. We use to go to the U of I and the wait times and scheduling was just awful to try and get in. Super glad to have such a nice local option for my family! 😊❤️🦷

If your kids are afraid of the dentist, Arctic Dental is the perfect place for them. Dr. Jarod has laid the foundation for my kids to no longer be scared, meeting them where they are at and never pushing so now they happily jump into the dentist chair for their cleanings and any cavity repair that may come up. He assured me it’s more important to show kids not to fear the dentist than to force them and this philosophy has worked for my kids. One of my children has intense sensory issues, and even he does great here! I really appreciate being able to use the lap desk with my kids when they are little so they can still be on my lap and the dentist can get a quick peek. We had a terrible experience in Iowa City with a dentist threatening my daughter to send me out to the waiting room if she wouldn’t let him do the exam, so we happily make the drive to Muscatine for the respectful dental care Dr Jarod and team provide.
